There are a few steps involved when beginning personal training sessions, outlined below:

Step One: Pre-Screening and Paperwork

Pre-screening for physical activity using an evidence-based screening tool is an important first step in ensuring a safe and enjoyable physical activity experience. Screening identifies those who many need more evaluation before doing a fitness assessment or becoming more physically active.

Get Active Questionnaire – Developed by the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP), it is intended to easily screen-in the majority of Canadians to safely participate in physical activity and exercise.

Get Active Questionnaire – Reference Document – Enables you to make an informed decision whether you should seek further advice from a health care provider or qualified exercise professional before becoming more physically active. It is designed to be a self-administered pre-screening tool to empower individuals to be responsible for their own health and well-being.

What I need from you, the client, is to download the Get Active Questionnaire and Personal Training Terms and Conditions. Open the saved documents with Adobe Acrobat Reader, fill them out to completion, save them, and send the completed documents to info@pgwellness.com

Step Two: Training Location and Pricing

Freelance Personal Training: We can conduct personal training sessions in the privacy of your own home or in co-operation with local gyms that work with freelance personal trainers.

Town of Ajax: I work for the Town of Ajax and can conduct fitness assessments and training sessions for members only. Please visit www.ajax.ca/fitness to view community centre locations, membership options, fitness assessment, and personal training pricing.
